Heavenly Trading supplies jewellery packaging to the trade from Bedfordview, Gauteng. This page explains what personal information we collect through heavenlytrading.co.za, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Quote requests: your business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website and delivery address, plus the products and quantities you choose.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Website use: basic technical information (such as your browser and the pages you visit) collected by our hosting provider, our spam protection and Google's advertising tag.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote, answer questions, process orders and arrange collection or delivery.
- To keep business and tax records.
- To measure how many quote requests come from our Google ads, so we can improve them.
We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the website and reply to you:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores quote requests and protects the form from spam (Turnstile).
- Resend sends quote emails, and Zoho hosts our email.
- Google provides advertising and conversion measurement (Google Ads).
- Couriers receive your delivery details when we ship an order.
Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. They are bound by their own data-protection terms.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for spam protection and for Google Ads conversion measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the catalogue and quote form will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and order information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal and tax record-keeping duties, then delete it.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email rebecca (at) heavenlytrading.co.za and we'll respond promptly. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
